Procedures for using the Center
    • Tests are brought to Student Services by professor or sent by their student worker
    • Placed in locked file cabinet in Testing Center or in Student Services
    • Tests administered at appointed time
    • Student worker returns tests to faculty offices
    • Student workers pick up tests at faculty request

16
Procedure if Student Worker Does Not Pick-up, Deliver or on Occasion, Monitor a Test
  • Faculty agrees to deliver and pick-up their own tests
  • Faculty agrees to allow the coordinator to reschedule their test time when the test can be proctored by the coordinator
17
CHALLENGES
  • Only one coordinator
  • Has personal needs, doctor’s appointments, committee meetings, time-off like everyone else
  • Students fail to register with Testing Center for test administration
  • Student failure to register makes it impossible for us to plan coverage when the coordinator is gone
18
ACT Tests Administered on Saturdays
  • On various Saturdays throughout the year, the National ACT Test is administered on the LSUA campus.
  • Classroom may be used to facilitate this process
  • The next slide provides information concerning the measures taken to ensure that your classroom space is ready for you on Monday morning.
19
Procedure
  • Staff is well trained for testing procedures including leaving the room as found
  • The Coordinator checks all rooms for needed adjustments.
  • Each proctor’s room is checked to see if they put their room back in order
  • If your room is out-of-order, we apologize. We will do everything possible to see that weekend testing leaves all rooms as found.
