ACT Residual
The LSU Alexandria Testing Center administers Residual ACT examinations at various times throughout the academic year. These carefully scheduled dates allow convenient test taking times for LSUA students or future students only.

All tests begin at 7:30 a.m. Examinees should be present then with picture ID and $45.00 test fee, payable by check, money order, or correct cash. Bring #2 pencils and a simple calculator.

ACT National
For national test dates and to register, please refer to: www.actstudent.org
Examinees must bring their photo ID and admission ticket to test. Report to Coughlin Hall no later than 8:00 a.m.
Stand-by Testing
Students who are not registered may attempt to test as a stand-by. You should arrive no later than 7:30 a.m. with a sealed registration envelope containing the paper registration form and test payments. For more information on stand-by testing, see www.actstudent.org.
Test Center and Test Date Changes
Students who are registered take the ACT at another location or on another date may also be present no later than 7:30 a.m. to test at LSUA as a standby. Please refer again to the above website.
What to bring:
- sharpened #2 pencils

- ticket or completed standby registration packet
- jacket or sweater
PRAXIS
The Testing Center administers the PRAXIS examination throughout the year on national dates. The PRAXIS is a set of rigorous and carefully validated assessments that provides accurate, reliable information for use by state education agencies. Colleges and universities may also use the basic academic skills assessments to qualify individuals for entry into teacher education programs.

TOEFL
The TOEFL(R) test (Test of English as a Foreign Language) will help students demonstrate that they have the English-communication skills needed to succeed in an academic environment. More than 6,000 institutions and agencies in 110 countries rely on TOEFL scores to select students with the English skills needed to succeed. TOEFL covers all facets of English proficiency including a test of spoken English and grammar exercises.
